Job Description

Apprentice needed to learn how to hand craft custom made mattresses. Learn from a master, hone the craft and become a skilled artisan will proudly put their name on a product that will be enjoyed in someones home for years to come. Must value quality over quantity, have great attention to detail and value old world craftsmanship. Must be able to work well alone, be self directed and self motivated. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to multi task. Job will involve every process involved in making a mattress from start to finish; cutting, sewing, gathering raw materials, lifting over 50 lbs, assembly and packing for shipment all over the USA. Additionally this is a clean room environment, no smoking, no perfumes, no colognes, no scents or odors of any kind, working with natural fibers and products that will pick up and absorb those odors. With over 103 years handcrafting mattresses in Syracuse NY we need a new artisan to pass the torch and carry on the tradition of handcrafted mattress making.
