Job Description

 
Apprentices will be required to perform the following on the job training (OJT) tasks and other duties as assigned. The OJT tasks involve physical labor on buildings, highways and heavy construction projects:

Leveling and setting screeds, rodding and tamping concrete, drying and dewatering techniques, jointing and edging, floating and troweling, applying special effects, finishing or washing of concrete, patching and grinding concrete, running base and curbs, installing sills, steps, stairs and sidewalks, stakes, grades and forms.

Applicants must pass a drug test prior to enrollment and as a condition of continued enrollment in the apprenticeship program.

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license have own reliable transportation.
