SENIOR ACCOUNTANT or CONTROLLER
CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Sr. Accountant/Controller to work for a well-established organization in the Capital Region, NY. This is an in-office position.
The Sr. Accountant or Controller will be responsible for processing a variety of transactions in the accounting department and for supporting the general administrative function of the Company. The selected candidate will process AP, Payroll, Billing and Budgeting transactions as well as reporting as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related field preferred. (equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree)
• 5+ years’ accounting experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in basic accounting principles.
• Extensive experience in project invoicing and billing.
• Demonstrated experience in performing statistical analysis and ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Job Cost Accounting experience.
• Familiarity with construction software and Sage 100 Contractor a heavy plus!
SALARY RANGE
• $80-120k (Based on experience)
