Rivers Casino & Resort is a $330 million private investment proposed for development by Rush Street Gaming in Schenectady, NY. The casino will be built adjacent to the $150 million Mohawk Harbor development currently under construction by The Galesi Group. Together, this investment will transform one of Americas oldest brownfields into a waterfront tourism and entertainment destination.
Rivers Casino and Resort Schenectady is looking for a Database Analyst who will be responsible for planning and execution of brand enhancing promotions and events that support the companys business objectives to deliver gaming volumes, market share and return on investment through flawless execution and superior customer service.
-Assists Database Marketing Manager in analyzing effectiveness of programs and promotions by utilizing data mining, proformas and any other effective methodology.
-Executes end-to-end customer contact campaigns via direct mail, email and other digital platforms.
-Proofs all direct mail and digital communications to ensure accuracy of copy and data application.
-Responsible for test and control methodologies and back-end analysis of all campaigns, including return on investment analysis.
-Create statistically based predictive analyses to support business and marketing strategy and consumer behavior conclusions.
-Provides input to marketing on customers tastes, preferences and segmentation analysis.
-Develop and implement customer surveys, data collection tools, monthly segmentation reports, database hygiene and other reports as required.
-Reporting and analyzing; redemptions, membership enrollments, tracked play, ADT, time played, action and any other information requested.
-Perform data research and data quality audits.
-Develop marketing tools to utilize for analysis.
-Help define requests for support from other marketing areas.
-Develops recommendations for direct marketing tools that improve marketing efficiencies and effectiveness.
-Serves as liaison between marketing and IT on issues related to data mining and database integrity.
-Manages analysis from inception to completion, developing actionable recommendations.
-Supports tests of new marketing technology, especially segmentations.
-Issues new and replacement players club cards to patrons.
-Adjust complimentaries and/or points in player accounts.
-Servers as subject matter expert for casino management system and is a property super user.
-Ensures flawless internal control and regulatory compliance leading to perfect internal and external department audits.
Qualification and Competencies:
-College degree or other work or educational equivalent required
-1-3 years of relevant experience working in data analytics, data mining, database marketing or a comparable marketing capacity.
-Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office products including Access and Excel as well as data mining tools and casino management systems.
-Outstanding organization skills are a must, as is the ability to actively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Must thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
-Strong desire to take accountability and have their performance measured on contribution to business results.
