Job Description

 

Lead Teacher is responsible for overseeing planning, set up and maintenance of a safe and healthy learning environment for children. It involves establishing atmosphere of love, concern and caring for them, as well as their long-range development goals. Oversees design and maintenance of attractive, orderly learning environment appropriate to each child's development. Works in all areas of classroom with individual children as well as groups. Supervises Assistant Teachers and other team members. Maintains complete confidentiality of Center and family information. <p>Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (CDA) credential required. <p> Required Skills:<br> <li> Flexible in meeting needs of children and center <li> Plans materials and lessons in advance <li> Encourages children and focuses on positive behavior <li> Plans for individual children's social, emotional and intellectual needs
